Just a little background on Pointe

 

Hi I am Gabby, I have always loved photography and always wanted to dance.

I kept pursuing my passion for photography throughout my life, having numerous family members guiding me as they were also photographers.

 

I grew up from a very young age with a dancer as a best friend, she did freestyle and I absolutely loved supporting her dance and even tried to take a few photos at her competitions whenever possible, she stopped dancing in high school and the dancing kind of faded in my life.

 

Then I was blessed beyond measure, when one day I went to the gym and a guy approached me and asked if I would like to try out his dance classes, so I thought to myself this is my chance to dance, I convinced a friend of mine to join me and we showed up for dance I thought it would be easy seeing that it's only us and that is a "gym instructor" giving the class, the instructor decided to pull some fancy moves, needless to say we barely held up with him and long story short, that instructor became my forever friend, my hubby and lifelong dance inspiration.

 

Our paths worked out so well for us as we started working together, I ended up focusing my photography on dance and was basically involved in dance 24/7 with my husband Wayne, back when he still had a dance studio and now traveling around SA choreographing and working on our MOOV convention together.

 

Therefore I can truly say that I am blessed to be part of the dance world!
